Rita Manzo, 96, of Voorhees, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Emeritus at Voorhees. Born to Peter Zito and Anna Videtti (nee Carlo) in Bayonne on December 4, 1916, she resided in in Fords for 47 years before moving to Voorhees 7 years ago. Rita was a graduate of Bayonne High School and McDowell School of Design. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church and was a Personnel Officer with the New Jersey Diagnostic Center at Menlo Park.

Rita was predeceased by her husband, Valentine Manzo, in 1990; her brother, Thomas Zito; step-siblings, Joseph Videtti, MD, Anthony Videtti, Tina Christia Scala, and Marie Gentile; and daughter-in-law, Gail Manzo. She is survived by her sons, James P. Manzo and his wife, Cheryl, of San Antonio, TX; the Rev. Peter Manzo and his wife, Joan, of Voorhees, NJ; her grandchildren: Larisa, Andrew and Lucia of Voorhees, NJ; and her brother, Dr. Nicholas Videtti of Ridgewood, NJ.

Visitation will be Saturday, 8:30-9:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Services will begin 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
