Richard J. Warchola, 80, of Fords, passed away at home surrounded by his family on June 26, 2023. He was born on March 6, 1943, in Central City, PA. Richard was a Layout Designer for Arrow Iron Works in Jersey City. He coached baseball for Fords-Clara Barton Little League. Richard loved bowling, golfing and playing poker on Friday nights.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sonia Warchola, of Fords; three children, Richard Warchola, and his wife, Janice, of South Carolina; Sandra Cole, and her husband, Steven, of Howell; and Jeff Warchola, and his wife, Pam, of Johnstown, PA; five grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Vincent, Kayla, Breanne, and Leah; a great-grandson, Alex; a sister, Barbara Corradini, and her husband, Dave, of Central City, PA; and a brother, Larry Warchola, and his wife, Fran, of Central City, PA.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 29, 2023, 10am-12 noon, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, 12 noon, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Fords.
