Richard F. Tedeschi passed away peacefully at Genesis Seaford Rehabilitation Center in Seaford, DE on April 15, 2023.

He Born in New York City and formerly of Fords, NJ before moving to Millsboro, DE in 2020.

Rich was a member of New York Police Department's elite ESU and many other units during his career retiring in 1986. He was Chief Executive Officer of Ambase Corp. then retiring in 2010 as the Chief of Police for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.  Rich was also President of his own security company, Wildwood Security Services.

In his leisure time Rich loved to boat, golf, travel, read and watch his two favorite NY teams; the Yankees and Jets.

He is preceded in death by his parents Mary and Francis Tedeschi. Rich leaves behind his loving wife of nearly 15 years Lisa Pawelski Tedeschi; his beloved daughters: Jeannie Dwyer, her husband Patrick, Maureen Amico, her husband John, Nancy O'Neill and her husband Michael; his dear sisters Marianne Adamo, her husband Frank and Elizabeth Bassford and her husband Andy.

He was also a stepfather to Krista and Michael Forni. Rich's memory will also live on in his grandchildren: PJ, Brendan, Erin, Devin, Tyler, Ryan and step-grandchildren: Nicholas, Jessica and Jonathan; nephews: Ethan and Liam and loyal companion Aiden Timothy, the Corgi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 10:00 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords, NJ followed by private cremation.
