Richard "Dickie" Prasnal, 75, of Fords, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.  Born in Perth Amboy, Richard had lived in Fords for 40 years.  He was an avid gardener who enjoyed feeding birds.  He played the guitar, was a Corvette enthusiast and enjoyed flying model planes with friends when he was young. Richard worked for Racz's Towing, Keasbey for 50 years as a Tow Truck Driver and Mechanic.  He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

Richard was predeceased by his parents, Mildred and Frank Prasnal, and his dog, Ducker.

Richard is survived by his wife Lorraine Ann (Wernoski) Prasnal, to whom he was married for 44 years; his daughter, Susan Prasnal; his son, Eric Prasnal; and his brothers-in-law, Kenny Wernowski and Richie Wernoski.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.  Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-9 PM.
