Richard Nogan, 80, of Edison,  passed peacefully on Friday October 13, 2023 at the Roosevelt Care Center in Edison.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of Edison Twp..

He was a graduate of Edison High School with the "Class of 1961"

He proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US
Army and was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone for over a year.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.

He was a retired Refinery Mechanic with Bayway Refinery, Linden, where he had worked for over 43 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Elizabeth (Palko) Nogan and his brother Robert Nogan, who died in 1998.
Those close to Richard would like to extend Richie's appreciation to all his nurses, aides and staff of the Roosevelt Care Center for their excellent  and loving care over the last 14 years.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 1 pm to 4 pm. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave Fords NJ 08863.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 11 am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn.
