Richard Peter Feltus, 95, of Woodbridge, entered into eternal rest December 26, 2021, at Sun Rise Senior Living in Edison.  He was born on Staten Island, NY, and has resided in Woodbridge since 1959.

Richard was a Crew Dispatcher/Yard Master with B & O/C & O Railroad on Staten Island for 43 years before retiring in 1985.

He proudly served his country in the Navy during WW II.

Richard was a former member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church and is presently a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, both in Edison; a member of the Danish Brotherhood Lyckan Lodge #507, VOA; and the Thor Lodge #46 Danish Brotherhood.

Richard was predeceased by his wife, Elsie Caroline Johnson Feltus, in 2019.

He is survived by his daughters, Deborah C. Larsson and her husband, John, of Colonia; and Susan M. Catrone and her husband, Mark, of Carteret; grandchildren: Erik Larsson; Meaghan Reuler (Bert); Kevin Larsson (Carrie); Jesse Catrone (Jess); and Travis and Dana Catrone; and great-grandchildren: Kai Magnus Larsson; Hudson Miles Catrone; and Elsie Lyn Reuler.

A public Memorial Service will be announced at a later date when it is comfortable for everyone to gather as a group.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
