Rema Rose Blake, 70, of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest June 9, 2014, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. She was born in Jamaica and has resided in Perth Amboy for the past 30 years,

Rema is predeceased by her siblings, Dawn Mitchelle and Jean Banner. She is survived by her husband, Winston Fagagil Blake; her daughters: Millicent, Winsome, and Samantha Blake all of London, England; Barbara Blake-Eke-Okoro of St. Louis, MO; and Denise and Dowega Blake of Perth Amboy; her sons: Cornell "Romee" Christi of Jamaica; Barrington Blake of London, England; and Emarn Blake of Cherry Hill; grandchildren: Rowena, Jermaine, Amara, Ehema, Udonne, Kelenna, Chinaza, and Ihenna; and great-grandchildren: Shannon, Amarie, Ashton, Tejay, Nave, and Kerial. She is also survived by her mother, Marie White of Orlando, FL; her siblings: Eileen Martin, Maureen, Irvine, and Christine Henry; and Carlton Stephenson.

Funeral services will be on Monday, June 23, 2014, at 9:30 am at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 183 Rector Street, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, June 22, 2014, 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy and Monday morning from 8:30-9:30 am at St. Peter's Church.
