Regina F. O'Neill, 93, of Metuchen, passed peacefully at home with her family at her side, on Sunday May 15, 2016.

Born in Newark, she moved to Fords in 1955, and has resided in Metuchen for the last 14 years.

She was a graduate of the Benedictine Academy in Newark with the class of 1940.

She retired as assistant manager for Adventure Jewelers in Woodbridge Center for over 15 years and prior to that she had been employed for 15 years in the jewelry dept. at S. Klein's in Woodbridge.

Regina was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords where she was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society, was a former team mother of the Fords –Clara Barton Little League for many years, and was a ceramics and crafts enthusiast.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gregory, who died in 2000 and her brother, Eugene Dulje.

Regina leaves behind, her beloved daughter, Leslee A. (& Robert W.) Thompson of Oceanport, her beloved sons; Gregory E. (& Christine) O'Neill of Cupertino, CA, and Paul L. ( & Denise) of East Brunswick, her dear grandchildren, Shannon and Gregory and their mother, Cindy O'Neill of Concord ,CA, , her calico cat, "Sweetie" and her devoted friend Terry Bates.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 , from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will begin on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
