Regina S. Mezynski, 86, of Chesterfield, formerly of Edison, NJ, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 8, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephania and Jozef Murawski; a grandson, Scott Klisch; and was the widow of Adolf Mezynski.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Klisch, and husband Robert; son, Walter Mezynski and wife, Geraldine; son, John Mezynski and wife, Kathleen; daughter, Donna Walsh and husband, Tom; son, Adolf J. Mezynski and wife, Hope; grandchildren, Brett, Tara, Christine, Gary, Mark, Kyle, Ryan, Dylan, Tyler, Nick and Adam; twelve great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.
Shortly after WWII, Regina met Adolf in Jersey City, NJ. Then in 1949 they married at St. Anthony's Church in Jersey City. As their marriage matured and they started having kids, they found they needed more space. So they bought their first home in a postwar development called Lafayette Estates in Fords, NJ, then moved to Edison, NJ. After 30 years in Edison, they finished raising their family and relocated to the south. Although not golfers, they settled midway up the 18
th
fairway in the beautiful golf community of Birkdale in Chesterfield, VA.
Regina and Adolf loved traveling the world, especially with their children. They also enjoyed camping in their motorhome with their children and grandchildren, favorite destinations were Disneyworld, Myrtle Beach and the Delmarva peninsula.

The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm on Monday, July 17, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10 am on Tuesday followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords. Cremation will follow.
