Raymond Talarico Sr., 79, of Menlo Park Terrace, passed away at home on July 4, 2017. He was born on January 17, 1938, in Guttenberg, NJ. Raymond has resided in Menlo Park Terrace for 52 years. Before his retirement he was a Chemical Engineer for Faberge and Mobile Chemical. He was in the US Army Reserves and was the former Captain of the Edison II First Aid Squad. He enjoyed taking cruises, he loved to play basketball, and he loved his pets.
Raymond was predeceased by two brothers, Joe and Paul Talarico.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce (nee Lang) Talarico, of Menlo Park Terrace; two sons, Raymond Talarico Jr. and his wife, Roseanne, of East Brunswick; Eugene Talarico, of Queens Creek, AZ; and two grandchildren, Nicole and Bryan Talarico.
Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, on Thursday, 4-8 pm. Funeral services will begin Friday at 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Andrews church in Avenel. Entombment will be in Good Shepherd mausoleum in St. Gertrude's cemetery.
