Raymond Dennis Simone, Jr. 31, of Avenel, passed away May 19, 2018, at his home.  He was born in Secaucus and has resided in Avenel for the past 26 years.  He was a graduate of the HVAC program at East Brunswick Vocational School.

Raymond enjoyed playing baseball which included the Vo-Tech team where they won the GMAC tournament in 2005.  He loved rooting for his favorite team, the Yankees.  He enjoyed spending time with his many family members and friends including his cousins who were more like his siblings and his girlfriend and love, Nicole Kerstetter.  He spent his last hours with his dog, Molly.

Raymond was predeceased by his grandmother, Julia Anna Quinones; his aunt, Rosemarie Quinones; and uncles, Salvatore and John Quinones.

He is survived by his mother, Juliann Quinones of Avenel; his father, Raymond Simone of Bayonne; his grandfather, Armando Garced; his aunt and godmother, Angela Severini of Avenel; his uncle Gabe and Aunt Mary; his cousins: Gabe Quinones, Jr., Justin Quinones, Nicole Mortensen, Amanda Davis, Julianna Severini, John Quinones, Joey Severini, and Samantha Quinones.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. The Funeral Liturgy will be on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Andrew's R C Church, 244 Avenel Street, Avenel.
