Raymond T. Nixon Jr., 84, passed away on July 20, 2012, at JFK Medical Center, Edison. He was born on February 24, 1928 in Perth Amboy and for the last 45 years resided in Edison. For 50 years, he worked as a carpenter for Raritan Copper Works in Perth Amboy, retiring in 1990. Raymond served in the United States Army during WWII.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother and sister. Surviving is his daughter, Lisa G. Norris of Edison and his grandson Justin Norris.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. In lieu of flowers, contributions to his family would be appreciated.
