Obituary

Ranjan "Ron" or "Ronnie" Subramanian was born in Massachusetts on March 6, 1969 to Rita Mitra and Alap Subramanian. His family moved to Germany when he was 5 and he remained there until he completed high school. Ron went on to receive his Bachelor's degree from Rider University in 1991 and his MBA from Drexel University in 1997.  On November 15, 1998, he married his wife, Manisha, and they had 2 wonderful sons, Arun and Kiran.

Ron was a caring person who loved being a father first and foremost. Whether he was coaching his sons' soccer or flag football teams, or sitting on the sideline cheering them on in their multitude of sporting events, those were his absolute favorite places to be. He also loved spending time with friends, and once he called you a friend, you were a friend for life. He found joy in everyday life, especially while meditating, traveling, and mountain biking. One of his most favorite times of the day was when his 2 fur-babies, Munchkin & Oreo, would snuggle up with him while working.

Ron passed peacefully at home in the early hours of November 13, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.  His wife and kids were home with him.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother Rita Mitra Subramanian (nee Mitra) and mother-in-law Nalini Doshi.

He is survived by his wife Manisha (nee Doshi), sons Arun & Kiran, father Alap, brother Suman, father-in-law Suresh Doshi, brother-in-law Hemen Doshi, sister-in-law Geetanjali (nee Patel), niece Sabrina and nephew Neil, and many other beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws, in the US, India & Dubai.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 19 from 2pm to 4pm at Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 0886., NJ. Repast will be held immediately after from 4pm-6pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Cancer Center.
