Obituary of Ramona Arce Martinez


Ramona Arce Martinez, 61, of Perth Amboy, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Abingdon Care & Rehabilitation Center in Green Brook Township. Mrs. Arce Martinez was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Arce and Josefa Martinez and had previously lived in Brooklyn NY before moving to Perth Amboy twenty nine years ago.
She was a homemaker. Ramona was predeceased by two brothers, Gumercindo Arce and Luis R. Arce, and two sisters Milagros and Maria Del C.
She is survived by her three sons, Martin Perez and his wife Ana of South River, Juan Santiago of Florida and Christian Santiago of Puerto Rico, her daughter, Edna Santiago of Florida, her brother, Bonifacio Arce of Puerto Rico, her five sisters, Iris Santander of Brooksville, FL, Magdalena Arce of Brooklyn, NY, Juanita Lopez of Allentown, PA, Felicita Arce of Allentown, PA and Marta Arce of Tampa, FL., seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Entombment will follow in the Alpine Cemetery Mausoleum in Perth Amboy. Visitation hours will be held Thursday from 9:00 am till time of Service.
