Ramon R. "Chacho" Perez, 60, of Perth Amboy, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway. Born in the Dominican Republic, Ramon had lived in Perth Amboy for 40 years. He was recently retired after serving as an Environmental Supervisor for 18 years for Maimonides Hospital, Brooklyn, NY. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his father, Daniel Perez, and one brother. Ramon is survived by his wife, Maria Perez, to whom he was married to for 42 years; three children: Ricardo Perez of Philadelphia, Maria Isabel Perez of Linden, and David Perez of Perth Amboy; four grandchildren: Dasia, Jeremiah, Messiah and Gianna; his mother, Aurora Perez, of the Dominican Republic; and six brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2015, at 9:30 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy followed by a 10 AM mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
