Obituary

Ralph A. Witkowski passed away quietly Monday, May 28 th .  He was born in JFK Hospital in Edison in 1978, and lived the majority of his life in Metuchen, NJ.

Ralph was a person with intellectual disabilities, but he believed he could accomplish his dreams.  He was very proud of graduating high school and earning his diploma.  Ralph could never stand to see anyone bullied or treated unfairly.  He chose to stand up for those who could not stand up for themselves, even if it meant he would put himself in harms way.  He had a huge heart and never judged others by their race, religion, or intellectual capabilities.

A huge sports fan, Ralph love baseball and basketball.  He also loved 80's music and playing games on his Gameboy and Xbox.  His favorite song was "Broken Wings" by Mr. Mister.  The world is a little dimmer now without his light.

Ralph was predeceased by his loving parents, John and Elaine Witkowski.  He is survived by his brother, Stephen Witkowski; sister-in-law, Alisha Witkowski; niece, Courtney Witkowski; and his sister, Anne Marie Witkowski.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 8:30 to 10 am at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen.  A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:30 am at St. Francis Cathedral.  Interment will follow in Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway.
