Ralph Nota,
Jr.
April 15, 1949 – September 16, 2025
Ralph Nota Jr., 76, of New Monmouth, died Tuesday September 16, 2025, at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel. He was born and raised in Perth Amboy and was a lifelong Communicant of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary R.C. Church (now Good Shepherd Parish). After getting married, he lived in Edison and Fords before moving to New Monmouth in 1995. He worked at Door Jockey Inc. of Wall for 52 years, where he was formerly the Vice President and currently served as Sales Manager. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army earning the rank of Staff Sgt. and received two Bronze Stars for his heroism. He is Past Commander of the Fords V.F.W. Post #6090.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents, Sophie (nee Skorupa) and Ralph Nota Sr.; his wife, Mary (nee Czaplicki) Nota who died in 2018; his sisters, Laurie Ann and Debbie Grehl; and his brother, Michael Nota.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Nota; his son-in-law, Baylen Edwards, of Wayne, Pennsylvania; and his sister, Christine Warren, of Pinetop, Arizona.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 12:15 PM at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, where Ralph will be laid to rest with military honors beside his wife Mary. Arrangements are under the direction of the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy.
In lieu of flowers, donations to your local Veterans' Organization would be appreciated.
