Rafael Hermino Collado, 84, passed away at Alemeda Care Center in Perth Amboy on January 19, 2022. He was born on October 12, 1937, in Janico, Dominican Republic. Rafael was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. He enjoyed playing dominoes and cards.

Rafael was predeceased by five sisters: Maria, Monica, Estervina, Nicolasa, and Edilia; and four brothers: Celestino, Marcelino, Victoriano, and Socorro.

He is survived by his wife, Altagracia Collado, of Perth Amboy; three daughters, Mercedes Collado, of Bronx, NY; Viola Marie Collado, of Barcelona, Spain; and Nelly Collado, of FL; one brother, Santiago of Perth Amboy; seven grandchildren: Fabian, Lorraine, Vanessa, Juan Carlos, Henry, Carolina, and Alex.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 3-7 pm. Funeral services will begin Monday, 9:45 am at the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will begin 10:15 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in Alpine cemetery.
