Rachel J Mercurio, 89 of Brick passed peacefully at her home on Saturday morning of September 17, 2022.,

She was born in Carlstadt, NJ was formerly of Iselin, before moving to Brick 12 years ago.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband John Mercurio, who died in 2013.

She leaves behind her two beloved daughters, Cindy Lange and her husband Deacon Bill Lange of Woodbridge, Carol Borucki and her husband Peter of Brick and her beloved son, John Mercurio and his wife Jeanine of Brick, her six cherished grandchildren: Jessica, Daniel, Rachel, Brian, Nick and Sara and her dear great-grandchildren Callan, Landon, Nash and a great-granddaughter, who is due to arrive in December, her brother, Michael Gianfrancesco and his wife Vicky, of Bethlehem, PA and her sister, Maureen Spych and her husband Thomas of Colonia,  Also surviving are several nieces nephews and grandnieces and grand nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning , September 20, 2022 at 10 am from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords NJ 08863 , followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at St James RC Church in Woodbridge. Entombment will follow in St James Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday morning only, from 8 am until 10 am prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers Contributions may be made in her memory to the St. James Church Food Pantry.
