Phyllis Rosen, of Fords, passed away on January 9, 2022.  She was 88 years of age.

Phyllis was a homemaker and worked as a secretary at Middlesex County College in the Departments of Community Education; Admissions; Physics; and Hotel, Restaurant, & Institution Management for many years prior to her retirement. She loved to travel and visited many countries in Europe and Asia with her husband, as well as many of the states in the USA.

She was a long-time member of Congregation Beth Mordecai and its Sisterhood in Perth Amboy.

Her husband of 66 years, Norman, predeceased her in 2018.  She was also predeceased by her grandson, Derek Jacobs, in 2006.

Phyllis is survived by her four children: Dr. Marc W. & Sherry Rosen, Leslie and Dr. Jeffrey Jacobs, Sharon Rosen, and Jill Rosen; her brother and his spouse, Jerry and Theresa Neumann; her brother-in-law and spouse, Jeffrey and Stephanie Rosen, and her sister-in-law, Elaine Perlstein; as well as grandchildren Sari and Jeffrey Kerner, Joshua and Kelly Rosen, Philip Hratko, Nicole and Amy Eldridge, and Ariel and Jon Siswo;  her great-grandson Brayden and great-granddaughters Frankie, Emily, and Marlowe; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, January 12, at B'nai Abraham Memorial Park, 2600 US Highway 22 East, Union, 07083. Rabbi Uri Allen will officiate with arrangements under the direction of Flynn and Son Funeral Homes, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ.

Shiva will not be observed due to Covid.
