Phyllis Ann (Clark) Anglin of Colonia, NJ passed away on April 1, 2017 at the age of 77. Phyllis is survived by her husband "her Elvis", Richard Anglin; brothers Billy, Eddie and Clifford Clark, sisters-in-law Elsie and Paula Clark, and Mary Ann Anglin; her loving daughters Lynn, Terry and Jenny; son-in-law's Joseph Attanasio, Chris Coyne and Calvin Wilder; granddaughters Shannon and Amanda Coyne; grandsons Courtland and Clifford Wilder. Phyllis is predeceased by her son Richard Anglin and her sister Joanne Clark. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was born on January 25, 1940, she attended Woodbridge High School and graduated from Metuchen High School Class of 1958. She married her high school sweetheart Richard Anglin on May 30, 1959.
Phyllis was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. She was a fan of Elvis and referred to her husband as "her Elvis", she enjoyed walks in the park, long country car drives, visiting the shore, Ireland and traveling cross country. She found immense joy in visiting with her grandkids and giving gifts to others. She felt her grandkids could never have enough stuffed Pooh Bears and Mickey Mouse's. Phyllis described herself as "happy-go- lucky" and that she was. No matter the circumstances, Phyllis was happy, always had words of encouragement to give, and sincere joy to share. Phyllis was a unique lady with her own style. She was straight forward and would tell you like it is. Her faith was strong, she was always generous and would give the shirt off her back to a stranger. Services will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at New Dover United Methodist Church, 687 New Dover Rd., Edison. Interment will follow at Hazel Wood Cemetery, Rahway. Viewing will be held on Thursday, 1-2:30 PM and 4:30–6 PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford
Ave., Fords.
