Paulette Vrobel, 81, of Fords, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.  She was born in Perth Amboy and resided in Fords for many years.  Paulette was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, Class of 1960, and Lyons Medical School in Newark, New Jersey.

She was a retired Medical Lab Technologist, working with Dr. Mark Lasky at  Fords Family Practice in Fords for many years.  Prior to her employment with Dr. Lasky, Paulette worked in the same capacity for Dr. Leonard Williams of Plainfield.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to Atlantic City with her dear friend, Dolores Truskowski.  Paulette was a long-time communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.  She loved everything and everyone including her four-legged friend, Champ, the family dog.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Paul (1991) and Anna (1955) Vrobel.

Paulette leaves behind her beloved sister, Nancy A. Sofield; her nephew, John Paul Sofield; her great-nephew, Michael Paul Sofield, the wonderful young man who brought the sunshine to her life every day; and her great-niece, Emma Marie Sofield of Brick, NJ.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.  Burial will be private.
