Paula H. Hrehowsik, 70, of Fords, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at CareOne At Somerset Valley in Bound Brook. Mrs. Hrehowsik was born in Perth Amboy to the late Thomas and Lucy Sciortino DeMatteo and had previously lived in Edison before moving to Fords fourteen years ago.

She was employed by Johnson and Johnson in Warren NJ as a quality Control inspector for twenty years before retiring in 2010.

Paula is survived by her three sons, Anthony Hrehowsik and his wife Christine of Fords, Ryan Hrehowsik of Edison and Bill Hrehowsik and his wife Amanda of Middletown, her daughter Lucy Farrell and her husband Kyle of Hackettstown, a sister, Frances Butvilla and her husband Thomas of Fords, eight grandchildren, a niece, Ashley Lathem and her husband Steve of Fords and a great nephew, Stephen. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Private cremation will follow in the Rosehill Crematory in Linden. Visitation hours will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm..
