Paul "Big Paul" Fanich, 61 of Sewaren, passed suddenly on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Delaire Nursing and Rehab Center in Linden.
Born in Passiac, he was formerly of Woodbridge and had resided in Sewaren for the last 19 years.
He was a graduate of Lyndhurst High School.
He was a terminal operator for 12 years with Motiva Enterprises of Sewaren, prior to that he had been employed with various oil companies in the area as a driver of gasoline tanker trucks.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post # 87 in Woodbridge.
He enjoyed playing golf, his guitar, and especially spending time with his beloved granddaughter, Danica.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Eugene and Robert Fanich.
Paul leaves behind, his beloved wife of 32 years, Linda "Lynn" Fanich, his beloved daughter, Lisa Fanich, his beloved granddaughter, Danica, his devoted brother, Joseph Fanich of FL and his two dear sisters, Alice Pasinski, Dolores Rosen and his beloved mother, Dorothy Fulton and her husband, Tunis, all of PA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A private cremation, will follow.
