Paul Esposito, 76, of Sewaren, died Monday July 18, 2022 while comforted at the hospital.

Born in Newark to the late Albert Esposito and Amolia Belohlavek, Paul was a high school graduate of Woodbridge High.  After graduating, Paul went into the workforce doing several odd jobs until he found his calling working for Exxon, retiring as a master blender after 35 years.  He married the love of his life of 52 years, JoAnn.  They had two wonderful children, Chris and Jena.

In his free time, Paul enjoyed wood working, fixing things around the house, playing chess, the art of perfect penmanship and spent a lot of time searching flea markets for antiques with his wife.  No day was complete without several cups of coffee and time well spent in his garage, usually listening to Doo Wop.  He was a lifelong Yankees fan who rarely missed a game and enjoyed attending games with family.  His greatest joy was being a grandfather and spending time at home with family.

Paul is predeceased by his siblings, Sal Esposito, Phil Esposito and Irene Holmes.  He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, his children, Chris Esposito and wife, Elisa and Jena Perillo and husband, Peter; his sister Jeanne Kindler and husband, Mike; five loving grandchildren, Zachary, Rachel, Sophia, Olivia and Anthony; along with many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends

Visitation will be held on Thursday July, 21, 2022, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ 08863. A prayer service will begin at 3:15 in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
