Paul Cyrus, 84, of Fords, passed away at Haven Hospice on May 13, 2015. Born in Keasby on June 7, 1930, he lived in Fords for 50 years. Prior to his retirement, Paul was employed as a Machinist with Tennaco Nudex in Keasby. He was also a flea market vendor. Paul was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church and enjoyed playing poker. He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard as a Private 1st Class.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sally Cyrus, in 2001 and his brother, John Cyrus. Paul is survived by his daughter, Sherrie Houston and her husband, Bill, of Fords; his brother Ronald Cyrus and sister-in-law, Terry, of Iselin; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at Noon at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a 12:30 Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Iselin. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
