Patrick S. Olah, 61, of Edison, passed peacefully with his loving family at his side on Saturday October 20, 2012 at the Haven Hospice Unit of the JFK Medical Center in Edison , after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born and raised in Perth Amboy, was formerly of Sewaren and Sayreville before moving to Edison in 1985 .

Patrick was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School with the "Class of 1969" and was an avid NY Mets and NY Jets fan and enjoyed watching TV with his faithful friends, Tucker and Roxy.

He was a depot master with NJ Transit at the Meadowlands for over 36 yrs. before retiring in 2011.

He was predeceased by his parents, Steve J. and Charlotte Olah.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years, Mona (Lee) Olah, his daughter, Heather Leigh Olah at home, and his son, Craig Michael Olah and his wife, LaVonne, of Covina, CA, his grandson, Dominic, and his brothers, Richard of Port Reading and Steven of Perth Amboy, and his nephews, Richie of South Plainfield and Scott of PA.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Flynn and son/ Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen, NJ 08840. An Interment service will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Hopelawn.

Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
