Patrick Kennedy, 61, of the Fords section of Woodbridge Twp., passed peacefully, in the Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ, with the love of his family at his side, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.  Born in New Brunswick, NJ, on October 11, 1964, he was a lifelong resident of Fords.  Patrick was a 1982 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School.  He received a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University in New Brunswick.  Patrick was employed as an Electrical Engineer with the Princeton Engineering Group in Princeton, NJ.  He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.

Patrick was predeceased by his beloved parents, Mary E. (McCallion) Kennedy who died in 2019 and Joseph X. Kennedy who died in 1990, and his brother, Gerard Kennedy who died in 2020.

He leaves behind his beloved brothers: John Kennedy with whom he resided; Michael Kennedy and his wife, Theresa, of Frenchtown; Joseph Kennedy and his wife, Cheche of Stafford, VA; Mark Kennedy and his wife, Nancy, of Old Bridge; his sisters: Monica Chisvette and her husband, Mark of Hardyston Twp, NJ; Aileen St. Marie and her husband, Mark, of South Brunswick; Maryann DeSante and her husband, Louis, of Brick; his sister-in-law Shirley Kennedy (wife of Gerard Kennedy) of Willow Springs, NC; also surviving are his cousins and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.  Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM from the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords. Interment will follow in St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
