Obituary

Patrick E. Kay, 69, of Edison, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at JFK Medical
Center in Edison.

Patrick was born in Mountainside and raised in Kearny; he has resided in Edison for the last 43 years. He was employed as a Gold Seal Boiler Operator with Chevron Oil of Perth Amboy for 11 years before retiring.
Patrick was a communicant of Our Lady Of Peace Church in Fords. He was a 4th Degree Knight and member and former officer of the Knights of Columbus with the Our Lady of Peace Council # 9199 in Fords. He was also a member of the NJ Civil Air Patrol.
Patrick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and neighbor.

He is predeceased by his wife, Roseann Kay, who died in 2007. He is survived by his son, Christopher E. Kay and his wife Kathy of Lewes, DE, and his daughter Ann Marie Kay and her husband Joseph Aquiar of South Plainfield; his six grandchildren; his brother John Kay of Wilmington, NC; and his three sisters: Marie Daigle of Manchester, MO; Alice Foster of Morrisville, NC; and Dolores Tomace of Union.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday July 2, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords.
Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation will be on Friday, July 1, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m.
