Patrick Henry
Horan
December 15, 1947 – May 11, 2026
It is with deep sorrow to announce that Patrick Henry Horan passed away suddenly on Monday, May 11, 2026. He was born on December 15, 1947, to Robert Horan and Rose (Faraca) Horan in Perth Amboy, NJ. He attended Schools in Hopelawn and graduated from Woodbridge High School in 1965. He worked for various trucking firms and his Uncle Pat's Yellow Taxi Cab Service prior to finding a long-term position as a Grounds Keeper for the Woodbridge Board of Education where he worked until retirement.
He is pre-deceased by his parents, brother, Robert Horan, Sister, Gloria Horan Ward and brother-in-law, Walter Ward.
Patrick is survived by his daughter, Kelly Horan Amabile and grandsons Christopher and Kyle Amabile, his son, Patrick Horan, his wife, Julianne and granddaughter, Khloe, and his close companion, Susan Almasy, plus, numerous nieces and nephews.
Precious time was often spent with his daughter, Kelly Horan Amabile and his grandsons whom he loved and adored dearly, Christopher and Kyle Amabile. They spent quality time crabbing, fishing and, enthusiastically, attending Christopher's soccer games!
Frequently found at "The Hubs", Patrick, gladly, spent time with his close friends organizing and participating in events at the HUBS Club of humanity, unity and brotherhood services located in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
As a gregarious guy, Pat was full of life and loved to tell jokes, sing "Doo-Wops" and tease his grandkids. His past times included baseball, playing the lottery and watching sports. He was an avid fan of the Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys.
Patrick will be sorely missed by those who knew him and loved him. May he rest in peace and may his memory be eternal.
