Patricia G. Kerr, 81, of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., peacefully passed away on February 21, 2011, after a year-long battle with uterine cancer.
Patricia was born and raised in Metuchen, where she had resided until moving to Monroe in 1996.
She was employed with Vertis, Inc. of Monroe for over 24 years working up until the time of her illness. She loved her work and co-workers. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, as she touched each of us in her own special way.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Alice Entwisle and her brother Arthur.
She is survived by her 3 children: Deborah Kerr and her husband Nestor Montalvo of Metuchen, Kevin Kerr of Wellington, FL, and Karen Kerr of Absecon; her grandchildren: Ryan Montalvo, Meghan and Jeremy Kerr; and her brother, Edward Entwisle of Edison; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kerr was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
Funeral services will be on Friday February 25, 2011, at 9:45 a.m. from the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840, followed by a 10:15 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen. A private cremation will follow.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday evening, February 24, 2011, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
