Patricia "Pat" Hodes, 79, of Iselin, NJ passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

Born in Manhattan, NY to the late Edward and Alice Cholar, Pat worked as a supervisor at the Woodbridge Public Library, in Iselin until she retired in 2005.

Being passionate about books, she was known for her fantastic recommendations to her beloved patrons when she was a librarian. Pat grew up in Port Reading, she had a great sense of humor (most of the time) and could often be found dancing on tables at parties. Pat loved watching The Wizard of Oz, Mamma Mia, or anything on the Hallmark Channel. After her retirement, Pat surrounded herself with her grandchildren, spending as much time as she could with them.  When she wasn't with her family, Pat loved taking vacations and trips with her lifelong friend, Judi Cimaglia.

Pat is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Robert D. Hodes; and her brother Richard Cholar. Pat is survived by her daughter, Tracey Wagner and her husband, Ed Wagner; her daughters Carey Hodes and Tammy Decker; her son Robert E. Hodes; daughter-in-law Jill Osborne; and her beloved grandchildren Steven, Tara, Keri, Lucas, Ronald, and Jake.
