Patricia Ann Amery's Obituary
Patricia Ann (née: Laffan) Amery, 41, of Fords, passed on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
She was born in Jersey City, NJ and had resided in Fords for the last 41 years.
She was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of Operation Desert Storm.
She was a physical education teacher at the Iselin Middle School for over 10 years with the Woodbridge Twp. Board of Education.
She was a member of the Garden Club at the Iselin Middle School and the President's Council of Physical Fitness.
She is predeceased by her beloved father, Thomas F. Laffan, Jr. Who died in 2008.
Patricia leaves behind her beloved husband of 10 years, Scott Amery, her dear son, Justin O'Connell , her beloved mother, Eileen M. Laffan of Fords, her two dear sisters, Alicia Marty of Fords and Eileen Safar of Piscataway and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, December 22, 2014, from 7 pm to 9 pm only, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, with a funeral service at 8:30 pm. followed by military honors at 9pm.
Cremation will be private.
