Nueli Diaz, 79, of Perth Amboy, passed away on October 11, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.
She was born in Cuba and had resided most of her life in Perth Amboy.
Nueli was employed for 10 years at Merck and Company in Rahway as a cafeteria worker. She was a communicant at Most Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn.
She was predeceased by her husband, Domingo P., in 2007 and by nine siblings.
Surviving are her daughters, Margarita Diaz-Sessa and her husband, Anthony of Massapequa, and Ruth Jurado and her husband, Jose of Matawan, her grandchildren, Joseph, Alexander and Nathaniel, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy. Funeral services will be Monday at 9:30 AM with a funeral liturgy at 10 AM at Good Shepard Parish, Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn. Entombment will follow at St. James Mausoleum, Woodbridge.
