Nora M. Anthony, 94, a lifelong resident of Edison, passed suddenly at home on Thursday, January 12, 2017.

She was a graduate of New Brunswick High School, with the class of 1941, and a life member and very active at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fords.

She retired in the mid 1980's as a librarian's assistant with the Edison Twp. Public Library.

She will always be remembered for being very proud of all her  five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Nora is predeceased by her beloved husband, Sgt. Stephen Anthony, of the Edison Twp. Police Dept., who died in 1970, and her beloved son, Stephen Anthony, Sr. who died in 2007.

She leaves behind, her beloved daughter, Diane L. Bekiarian and her husband Angelo, of Edison,

Her 5 grandchildren; Stephen, Jr., Kenneth, Matthew, Lora and Brett, and her 8 great- grandchildren, and a brother, Henry "Buck" Hansen.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral

Funeral services will be on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fords, with an interment, in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
