Nicholas Robert Post, 71, of Edison died Tuesday April 13, 2010 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born December 26, 1938 in Perth Amboy he resided here for 40 years. Bob graduated Rider University and earned his masters degree from Rutgers University. He began his career as a Business Education Teacher at Edison High School and became Chairman of the Business Department. He later became Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools in Edison and finally Business Administrator for Edison Board of Education until his retirement. He belonged to the Middlesex County Association of School Business Officials and was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Edison. Bob loved music, playing the drums, boating, flying with his own pilot's license and was a member of the NRA.
He was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Eleanore Post. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Kathleen (Myslinski) Post; son, Dr. Jeffery Robert Post of Louisville, KY, also many loving cousins and family dog Bertha.
Funeral Services will begin Saturday April 17, 2010 at 9:30am from Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ, Funeral Liturgy 10:00am at Our Lady of Peace Church, Entombment Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
