Nicholas Lassandro, 52, of Edison, passed away on January 19, 2013, at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. He was born in Newark, NJ, on February 23, 1960. He was the Owner/Operator of Market Sales grocery retail.

He is survived by his wife, Bernadette (nee Burke) Lassandro, to whom he was married for 31 years; son, Nicholas Lassandro of Edison; daughter Michelle Byron of Matawan; four grandchildren; sisters: Nancy Therion of PA; Kathy Rabie of Edison, and Gina Lassandro of Brick; brothers: Joseph Lassandro of Union Beach, Jimmy Lassandro of Edison, and Robert Lassandro of Edison.

Cremation was private. Arrangements were under the direction of Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840.
