Nicholas Kubichek 81 of Iselin, entered into eternal rest, Sunday February 5, 2012, at his home. He was born in Newark and has resided in Iselin for more than 50 years.

Nicholas was a Butcher/Meat Manager at Foodtown supermarkets in Bloomfield before retiring in 1996. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of V.F.W Post #2640, and a communicant of St. Cecelia's R. C. Church in Iselin.

He was predeceased by his wife Edith Marino Kubichek in 2007; his son, Glenn A. Kubichek in 2011; and his brother, Steven Kubichek in 2005. Nicholas is survived by his children: Cheryl Masucci and her husband Gary of Fords, Nicholas Kubichek and his wife Rose of Ocean Gate, Diane Giordano and her husband Mike of Parlin, and Karen Skwiat and her husband Gary of Sayreville; his daughter-in-law Lori Kubichek of Kendall Park; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012, at 9:15 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a 10:000 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Cecelia's Church. Entombment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012, from 4:00-8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center or the Parkinson's Foundation.
