Nicholas Robert Hudanish, 80, passed away on June 2, 2014 at his home in Annandale.
He was born in Perth Amboy, resided most of his life in Edison before moving to Annandale 6 years ago.
Nicholas was an electrician with IBEW Local 456 in New Brunswick for 44 years, retiring in 2003. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion Clara Barton Post 324.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elvira (Magro), in 1989 and his brother, Richard.
Surviving are his daughters, Carol Herzog and her husband Frederick of Flemington and Nancy Pinto and her husband Robert of Pittstown, his grandchildren, Frederick, Joseph and Gabriella and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Flynn and Son Funeral home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords with a 10 AM funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Interment will follow at Most Holy Rosary Cemetery, Hopelawn. Viewing will be Saturday 8 AM- 9:30 AM.
