Nelson "Jake" J. Woodruff, 82, of the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at the JFK Medical Center in Edison.

He was born on November 6, 1938, in Sugar Run, PA to the late Earl and Marie Woodruff and was a resident of Menlo Park Terrace for over 50 years.  He retired from Guest Packaging Inc. in Linden where he had been a Line Supervisor for many years.  Prior to that, he was employed with Revlon Inc. in Edison in the same capacity.

He is predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Veronica Woodruff; his son, Robert McGarvey; his grandson, Marc Spinden; his sister, Shirley Hawley; and his brother, Donald Woodruff.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Flora "Karina" Woodruff; her children and grandchildren; his seven children - Janet Dineen (Bill) of Edison, Maryanne Argese (John) of Helmetta, Denise Santoro (Dennis) of Hillsborough Twp., Ronnie Bookman (Barry) of Sarasota, FL, Sheila King (Keith) of Fords, Jay Woodruff (Deb) of Succasunna, and Andrew Woodruff (Liz) of Hamilton; his 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; his sisters – Betty Lutz, Patricia Thompson and Rosie Albertella.

Private Graveside Services were held on Monday, December 28, 2020, at Clover Leaf Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodbridge.
