Nella (nee: Bertini) Sanacory, 96, of Hopelawn, passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Mifflin Center, Shillington, PA.
She was born in Boston, MA in 1917 and was formerly of Fords and Perth Amboy.
She was employed as a machine operator for Hyatt Bearing Division of General Motors in Clark, for 18 years before retiring in 1981. She also had owned and operated an Italian restaurant in Perth Amboy.
She was a communicant of Good Shepherd Parish at Most Holy Rosary Church in Hopelawn.
She was a former member of Fords-Keasbey Seniors and a member of the Hopelawn V.F.W. Ladies Auxilliary.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Sanacory, who died in 1960.
Nella leaves behind her daughter, Kathleen Saporito and her husband, Andrew C. of Fords, her son, Dino Sanacory and his wife Claire, of Wyomissing, PA, and her 5 grandchildren, Andrew, Thomas, Dino, Jr., Frank and his wife Lorinda and Antony and his wife, Kamla, and her great granddaughter, Marley Sanacory.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 9 a.m. from the Flynn & son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Good Shepherd Parish, Most Holy Rosary Church in Hopelawn. Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Hopelawn. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
