Nancy M. Keene, 78, died on April 25, 2011, at Somerset Medical Center. She resided at the Avalon in Hillsborough for the last year and a half. Prior to that she lived in Edison and Hazlet.

Nancy was retired from the Garden State Parkway Authority. She was a graduate of Kenilworth High School, Class of 1951. She loved living at the Avalon, where she met new friends and enjoyed socializing and many activities.

Nancy was the last of seven children. She was predeceased by her son, Mark Guancione in 2000. She is survived by three daughters: Debra Guancione and her husband Joe Traszer of Branchburg; Denise Hornecker and her husband Daniel of Old Bridge, Jodi Ann Guancione formerly of Parlin; and two grandchildren, Dana and Jesse Hornecker.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 28, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 29, 2011, at the funeral home, at a time to be announced. Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.
