Nancy L. Harrigan-Boyd, 49,
of Point Pleasant passed away peacefully at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday November 28, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 1, 1961, in Edison, she resided in Point Pleasant for the last 6 years and the prior 10 years in South Brunswick. Nancy was a General Manager for McDonalds Restaurant in Piscataway for 27 years.
Nancy is predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Opal (Johnson) Harrigan, and her
Godson, Shawn Harrigan.
Surviving family members include her husband, Stephen, to whom she was married for 8 years; a step-son, Stephen Boyd of Pt. Pleasant;
step-daughter, Corey Boyd of Delaware; brother, Allen Harrigan and wife Linda of Robbinsville;
two sisters: Linda Donnelly and husband Gerald of South Port, NC, and Deborah Criss and husband William of Monroe Township; a niece and 2 nephews; uncle, Wilborn Johnson of Mississippi;
Mother- and Father-in-law, Joe and Martha Boyd of Bossier City, LA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert E. and Patricia Magee-Boyd of Brick; brother-in-law, Danny Boyd of Brick; and numerous
aunts, uncles and cousins in Arkansas and Louisiana.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 2, 2010,
from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
