Myrtle Mazzara (nee Keeler), 83, of Fords and formerly of Norwalk, Connecticut, entered into eternal rest on November 6, 2010, at home.

Born January 8, 1926, in Norwalk, Connecticut, Myrtle resided in Norwalk for most of her life, moving to Fords just last year. She was a homemaker who loved to read. She enjoyed her friends and family and was considered, "mom" to a lot of people.

Myrtle is survived by her three sons: Mark Mazzara and his wife Tracy of Fords, John Dominic of Norwalk, CT, and Jamy Mazzara of Somers Point, NJ; and two daughters: Denise Fretina of Stratford, CT, and Mae Penders of Norwalk, CT.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 12:00 noon from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOMES, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ. Cremation will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.
