Myra E. Mervin (nee: Ahart), 86, of Parlin, died June 2, 2011, at her home.
She was born in Highland Park, was formerly of Metuchen and Perth Amboy and has resided in Parlin for the last 48 years.
She was a graduate of Highland Park High School.
Myra is predeceased by her husband, Martin C. Mervin, who died in 1995. She is survived by her 3 sons: Russell Mervin of Avenel, Martin C. Mervin, III of Middletown, and Keith Mervin of Maryville, TN; her 3 daughters: Carolyn Panico of Colonia, Beverly Morales of Edison, and Kim E. Zeiss of Fords; her ten grandchildren: Lauren Harmon of Yardley, PA, Jennifer Panico of Edison, Dina L. Farkas of Freehold, Russell Mervin, Jr. of Avenel, Taylor and Brian Mervin of Middletown, and Brenden, Brittany, and Matthew Mervin of Maryville, TN, and Scott Zeiss of Fords; and her six great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, June 6, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Interment will follow in Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 5, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.
