Muriel Bell Aldridge 84, of Metuchen, entered into eternal rest, Friday January 25, 2013, at the Madison Care Center in Matawan. She was born in NYC and has resided in Matawan for the past 2 years.

Muriel retired as a teacher from the NYC School System after 20 years. She was a member of the Federation of Teachers, a patron of the Arts, and volunteered as a docent at Carnegie Hall.

Muriel is survived by her daughters Shelly L. Lewis and Wendy Asreen of Metuchen, her grandchildren Nicole, Kenny, Jamie, and Nick and several great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 2, 2013 at 3:30 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen. There will be a memorial gathering from 2 pm to 4 pm at the funeral home.
