Miriam Martinez, age 85, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family in Perth Amboy NJ. She was born on July 15, 1940, in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico to the late Emilio and Lydia Martinez. Miriam was a long-time resident of Perth Amboy, living in the town since 1978. Among many jobs Miriam worked in, most importantly was being a homemaker and raising a beautiful family.

Miriam is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Camacho, her son, Giovanny Rodriguez, and her two sisters, Heroina and Dora.

Surviving Miriam are her children, Myriam Rodriguez, Lydia Rodriguez, Emery Cortes, Frankie Rodriguez, and Aladi Rodriguez; her brother, Angel; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren, all whom she loved dearly.

Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Funeral Services will begin the next morning at the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Friday, October 24, 2025, followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, located on Smith Street in Perth Amboy. Cremation will be private.
