Miriam Schwartz Cohen, formerly of Perth Amboy, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 in Lauderhill, FL. Miriam was predeceased by her husband, Albert Cohen. The Cohens had resided in Deerfield Beach, FL for the past 35 years. Born in the Bronx, Miriam was in business with Albert at Allyn's Shoe Store in Perth Amboy before retirement.

Miriam leaves two daughters, Donna Cohen Scher (George) of Somerset and Tina Cohen Goldin (Ralph) of Naples, FL. In addition, there are four grandchildren; Leslie Aronson of Scottsdale, AZ, Eric Scher (Randi) of Kingwood Township, Gregg Goldin (Julie) of Encino, CA and Stacey Slater (Michael) of Chicago, IL. Eight great grandchildren will remember "GG" fondly. Miriam also leaves two sisters; Dorothy Delinko and Pearl Moldoff.

Services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Interment will be in Beth Mordacai Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Shiva will be held at the residence of Donna and George Scher in Somerset following services and in the evening from 7-9pm, Thursday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm, and Friday from 2-4pm.
