Minnie "Mickey" Carr, 86, of Perth Amboy, passed away on May 24, 2021 in JFK Medical Center. She was born in Newark on June 9, 1934. She was a Paraprofessional for special needs students for the Perth Amboy Board of Education. Minnie was a graduate of Newark High School. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with family and neighbors. Minnie spent her summers in Hammonton, New Jersey. Minnie had a passion for cooking and loved preparing food for her loved ones.

She was predeceased by her former husband, John T. Carr; and two sisters, Theresa Cirlincione and Joan Ciacchi.

Minnie is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Carr, and his wife, Antoinette, of Perth Amboy and Kevin Carr, of Perth Amboy; three grandchildren: Alexandra, Caleigh and Shelby; a brother, John Crea, and his wife, Virginia, of Manahawkin.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, on Thursday, May 27, 2021,3-7 pm. Funeral services will be Friday 10 am in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
