Minerva "Mitzi" B. Paradise, 78, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Lakewood.  She was born in Perth Amboy on November 16, 1946, to Sydney and Yvette Spiegel and attended school in Perth Amboy.  In 1967 she married Bruce A. Paradise and with him raised two sons after they lost their beloved daughter, Deborah, in 1970.  Mitzi was a homemaker who, after her husband's death in 1987, worked in a variety of fields to help support herself and her family. In retirement, she was an avid Scrabble player and enjoyed the company of her grandchildren, tending to her home, and feeding the deer that came to visit.

Mitzi is survived by her two sons, Jon Paradise and his wife, Liz, of Mt. Laurel, NJ, and Marc Paradise and his wife, Leigh, of Pottstown, PA.  She also leaves behind her three grandchildren: Nicholas, Caitlin, and Andrew Paradise.

A Graveside Service under the direction of Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 1:30 pm at Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen.  Rabbi Bernhard Rosenberg will be officiate.
